Participate in the 3km Walk to raise money for charity or for your own personal challenge. Complete the course and finish with a lap of the hallowed turf of the MCG to the cheers of family & friends.

2021 Melbourne Marathon Course Map

Start at Batman Avenue.

Head north along Batman Avenue in south bound lanes to a U Turn just before Flinders St and proceed along the city bound lanes of Batman Ave .

At upper Birrarunmar turn right onto path to a left turn and proceed down the wooden bridge

To a left turn at the Federation Bells veering left onto the William Barak Bridge with a hairpin left hand turn on to Jolimont St

At Jolimont Tce turn right and proceed to a U turn at Wellington Pde south Veer right onto Jolimont Tce and Brunton Ave then left into the MCG via Gate C and do one lap of the MCG to the finish line

Register as a Companion for a person in need of assistance in order to achieve their goals at the Melbourne Marathon Festival. To register as a Companion for a person in need of assistance in this year’s Melbourne Marathon Festival, please email enquiries@melbournemarathon.com.au to complete the carers application. Please note, once you have applied to be a companion you will be eligible to collect a companion bib from the Race Week Office during opening hours. Please note all companion bibs will be distributed from the ‘Enquiries’ window outside Gate 2. Unfortunately no companion bibs can be mailed out however a friend or family member can collect your bib on your behalf. Thank you for your assistance in helping a runner or walker achieve their goals at the Melbourne Marathon Festival.
