WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF REGISTERING A TEAM?

Being a part of a team at the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival will enhance your Event Day experience. Through registering a team, the opportunity for your friends, family or run club members to join forces with you will provide the extra motivation and support needed to cross the finish line. 

CORPORATE TEAMS

If you have a corporate team of 10 or more people and wish to be invoiced for your entry fees please CLICK HERE and submit your expression of interest. Please note, you will still be required to register your corporate team on the online registration platform.

TEAM MARQUEES

Interested in elevating your event day experience? The Team Marquee area is a dedicated section for groups to secure their very own space within the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival. Situated along Brunton Avenue overlooking the final stretch for all competitors, the Team Marquee area provides the perfect vantage point for competitors and friends alike to soak up the atmosphere on the big day. The experience will include a private section within a marquee to share with your friends, family and supporters both during and after the events. HOW DO I REGISTER MY TEAM?

You can create a team during the online event registration process. Please note, if you are the person who creates the team you will be designated as the team captain. Once a team has been created other participants have the option to join the team during the event registration process.

If you don’t wish to create a team or can’t find the team your looking for when you register, remember you can always log into the ‘My Events Portal‘ after you have registered and either create a new team or join an existing one!

TEAM CAPTAIN

The Team Captain is the main point of contact for both team members and for any correspondence from the Nike Melbourne Marathon Team. If we have any questions regarding a certain team, we will contact the team captain.

TEAM NAME

The Team name is what your team members will appear under throughout all aspects of the event.

If you are a corporate team you MUST include the business name within the team name. E.g. Team Kogan.
