Medical Pacers are qualified medical professionals who support runner safety on course.
Youโll start the race within a designated pace group (for example, the 3:30 marathon group), but your primary responsibility is to provide medical assistance on course if needed. You are there to keep an eye out for any runners in distress and step in quickly if an incident occurs.
Once you attend to a medical situation, you wonโt need to rejoin your original pace group โ instead, youโll continue running and remain available to assist with any further medical incidents along the course.
