Seeing our #MelbMara community take to their local streets to celebrate what would have been the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival has been incredible.

Our Melbourne Marathon Spartans were invited to don their Spartan singlets for 10 October and celebrate the best way they know how, with a long run!

“Sure was a great morning to be out for a run with quite a few ‘go spartan!’ cheers from passing runners and a couple of cyclists!” – Michael Still

We aren’t at all surprised to see our runners incorporating the fan-favourite Albert Park Lake track into their running routes. We could feel the high vibes and extraordinary sense of running community through our phone screens!
