What is CP and who is CPEC?
Volunteering at the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival
Cerebral Palsy is a lifelong physical disability which has the potential to have major impacts on development including the ability to walk, talk and participate within the community.
Described by families as a “place of hope”, CPEC is a not-for-profit charity providing world-leading programs to help children, adults and families living with cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions that result in movement challenges, learn essential life skills and live life to the fullest.
In order to cover the costs of our programs, we are dependent on events like the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival to generate the necessary funds.
There are many ways you can support CPEC at the 2025 Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival – so please, help us on the day by becoming a volunteer, entering an event and fundraising, or by making a direct donation.
Volunteering positions around the iconic MCG include:
- Starting Line
- Finishing Line
- Presenting medals
- Drink Stations
- Directing runners
- Bag Drop Points
- Supporting the Race Office
We’d love to hear from you!
