Run With Beyond Blue

This October, Beyond Blue is proud to be an official platinum charity partner of the 2025 Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival. We’re calling on runners of all levels to join us and support millions of people in Australia experiencing mental health conditions such as anxiety & depression.

Beyond Blue is a not-for-profit organisation that works to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression, and suicide. Every day, hundreds of people reach out to our 24/7 Support Service for advice, connection, and hope. With your help, we can continue to be there; any time, anywhere for anyone in Australia who needs us.

There are still spots available in the 5km and 10km events, making this a great way to soak up the electric festival atmosphere while doing something meaningful. Whether you’re new to running, doing a couch to 5k or just want to be part of a powerful community thatโ€™s greater than yourself —  your steps can help someone else take theirs toward resilience.

Turn steps into strides for mental health

  • Your fundraising helps support the nearly 1,000 people who contact our Support Service every day.
  • These conversations offer confidential, professional support from trained mental health staff, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Your fundraising helps us reach people earlier, so they can get well and stay well.

โ€œWe are grateful for this opportunity to partner with the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival, as it shines a light on the invaluable connection between physical movement and mental wellbeing,โ€ said Dr Luke Martin, Beyond Blueโ€™s clinical spokesperson. โ€œEvery dollar raised will go towards Beyond Blueโ€™s free, 24/7 Support Service so that no call for help will go unanswered.โ€

The Melbourne Marathon Festival brings tens of thousands of people together โ€” and that shared energy, purpose, and connection is a powerful reminder that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
