FREE SESSIONS EVERY SUNDAY AND WEDNESDAY. JOIN AT ANY TIME.

The Nike Melbourne Marathon In-Person Training Series presented by Bupa is aimed at preparing runners in a group environment for either the Nike Melbourne Marathon or Nike Melbourne Half Marathon, under the guidance of our experienced Coaches and Run Leaders.  A graduated program will provide runners with a solid training base to be fully prepared to tackle their event on Sunday 12th October.

Sessions:

Commencing Sunday 20th July – Concluding Thursday 9th October (Nike Melbourne Marathon Event staged on Sunday 12th October)

All sessions are free to attend.

The Sunday session is aimed at working on your endurance by gradually building the distance of the long run until a peak is reached four weeks from race day.  The Wednesday sessions supplement this with a medium distance run and quality session.

Parking: paid parking is available within the Albert Park precinct with a major car park adjacent to Lakeside Stadium.  Parking fees vary between weekdays and the weekend.  Free street parking is available in Canterbury Rd and the streets across Albert Rd from Lakeside Stadium with some having time limits.

So use the guide below to make sure you set out at the right pace and can enjoy your training run alongside runners of similar ability.
