Introducing our #thisis40 ambassadors!

To celebrate our 40th anniversary we have carefully selected 40 ambassadors to assist us with our #thisis40 campaign.

All in their 40th year, our ambassadors are a collection of male and female runners, with different experience levels, lives, and motivations as to how they became dedicated runners and enthusiastic participants of the Medibank Melbourne Marathon Festival.

Some of our ambassadors are running their first ever half or full marathon event, while others have experience in running the lengths multiple times. Our ambassadors are here not only to represent the event itself, but are here to share their stories with our community.

Our ambassadors met at the MCG with a backdrop of a hauntingly empty stadium, stories were shared, and training niggles were compared. Receiving free goodies on the night and instructional information from the Medibank Melbourne Marathon Festival event team, ambassadors socialised and excitedly began to share their stories.
