The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre provides specialised services for babies and children around Australia with CP. CP is the most common physical disability in childhood in Australia and the most expensive to manage. CPEC provides physical, occupational and speech therapy for our students as well as helping source essential equipment. Every one of our students learns to communicate which is life changing. Being able to communicate enables individuals to have a say on what is going on in their lives. Being able to communicate also offers the opportunity for our children to attend
mainstream kinders and schools. Last year every one of our kinder kids graduated to mainstream school is a fabulous outcome only made possible by the dedicated therapists at CPEC.
The government only funds 26% of our operating budget so we have to fundraise the rest to ensure our kids inspiring and life changing journeys can continue.
Our volunteers who include our families and friends make up nearly 300 marshals and event staff you will see on the day at the ‘G. Why not also help us by setting up a fundraising page or give us a donation to support us during our essential fundraising event.
